Dr Sachin Gawde is a Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT expert with more than 10 years of experience in reporting diagnostic Nuclear Medicine investigations, PET-CT scans and administrating high dose radioisotope therapies.
His area of expertise is diagnostic PET-CT with special interest in Oncology imaging and administrating high dose radioisotope therapies in thyroid cancer, carcinoma prostate and Neuroendocrine tumors.
He has experience of reporting more than 20000 PET-CT scans which includes Contrast enhanced PET-CT (Whole Body FDG PET-CT, Limited area (Regional) FDG PET-CT, infection imaging, Whole body Fluoride Bone Scan, Whole body 68Ga-DOTA and 68Ga-PSMA PET scan, Fluorothymidine (FLT) Brain PET, FDG Brain PET and Cardiac Viability PET imaging). He also has vast experience of reporting diagnostic Nuclear Medicine investigations (eg Bone, Renal, Hepatobiliary, Myocardial perfusion, Hynictoc, thyroid, iodine scans, etc) and administrating high dose Radioisotope therapies (Toxic radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroidism, Radioiodine therapy for Carcinoma thyroid, Bone pain palliation for osteoblastic skeletal metastases, Radiation synovectomy for inflamed joints, Lutitium- PSMA Therapy for carcinoma prostate and Lutitium DOTATATE/ DOTANOC therapy for Neuroendocrine tumors).
He has multiple national and international publications to his credit. He has also presented papers in various conferences.
